Privacy Policy — EmberHub

Effective date: 8 July 2026

Developer: Guangzhou Zhaiying Sui Trading Co., Ltd.

This Privacy Policy describes how Guangzhou Zhaiying Sui Trading Co., Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our") processes information when you install, register for, or use EmberHub, a social interaction application distributed on Google Play for Android devices. By creating an account, confirming eligibility, or continuing to use EmberHub after the effective date above, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the application and discontinue use.

We do not sell personal and sensitive user data.

Eligibility and Access Mode

EmberHub is intended exclusively for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. The application is not directed to minors, and we do not knowingly permit registration or sustained use by anyone under 18. At initial access, you may be asked to confirm that you meet the age requirement; beyond that confirmation, EmberHub does not operate a separate in-app age-verification program.

Access to core social features requires account creation. During registration, you typically provide credentials and profile details used to authenticate you, display your presence to other members, and operate messaging, matching, feed browsing, and related services. You may browse certain informational content before registering, but interactive features—including chat, matching, media sharing, and subscription management—generally require an active account tied to a unique account identifier.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly at weldonlidineller@gmail.com so we can review the situation and take appropriate steps.

EmberHub offers optional subscription features processed through Google Play Billing. Subscription terms, pricing, renewal intervals, and cancellation mechanics are shown in the in-app product listing and are governed in part by Google Play policies and your User Terms. Subscription status may be linked to your account to unlock premium capabilities; payment card details are handled by Google, not stored directly by us.

Rights and U.S. Notices

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may grant you specific rights regarding your personal data or personal information. This section summarizes key rights and how to exercise them. To submit any request described below, email weldonlidineller@gmail.com from the address associated with your account when possible, describe your request clearly, and allow time for identity verification. We will respond to privacy-related requests within a reasonable period after verification.

Global Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may have the right to:

If you believe personal data or personal information we maintain about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request correction (also called rectification) by emailing weldonlidineller@gmail.com with sufficient detail to locate the record and specify the change sought. We will review verified correction requests and update inaccurate or incomplete entries where required by law.

You may also delete your account through the in-app path Settings > Account > Delete Account. Account deletion initiates removal or anonymization of associated profile and content data according to our retention rules, though backup copies may persist for a limited period as described elsewhere in this Policy.

U.S. State Privacy Rights

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), provides you with rights including:

To exercise these rights, email weldonlidineller@gmail.com. We will respond to privacy-related requests within a reasonable period after verification.

California residents also have the right to know whether we share personal data with third parties in ways that may be characterized under the CCPA, and to understand what categories of personal information are involved. Our disclosures in the Data Inventory and Sharing Matrix sections of this Policy are intended to satisfy transparency expectations for California users reviewing how EmberHub handles personal data that may be shared with service providers and infrastructure partners.

Under the CCPA, the terms "share" and "sharing" carry a specific definition under California law that differs from ordinary conversational use. For example, disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising may qualify as "sharing" even when no money changes hands. EmberHub does not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law. For a complete description of how we disclose information to processors and infrastructure providers—and what we do not do—see the Sharing Matrix section. California residents wishing to exercise the right to know may email weldonlidineller@gmail.com, and we will respond to privacy-related requests within a reasonable period after verification.

Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA)

If you are a Virginia resident, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) grants rights that may include accessing your personal data, correcting inaccuracies, deleting personal data, obtaining a portable copy, and opting out of certain processing. Submit VCDPA requests to weldonlidineller@gmail.com. We will respond to privacy-related requests within a reasonable period after verification.

How to opt out: Although EmberHub does not sell personal data and does not conduct profiling producing legal or similarly significant effects, Virginia residents may contact us regarding the following categories:

  1. Targeted advertising — EmberHub does not use personal data for cross-context targeted advertising. If you have questions or wish to confirm this status, email weldonlidineller@gmail.com to opt out or receive written confirmation of our practices.
  2. Sale of personal data — We do not sell personal data as defined under the VCDPA. To opt out of any future sale should our practices change, or to request confirmation that no sale occurs, contact weldonlidineller@gmail.com.
  3. Profiling with legal or similarly significant effects — EmberHub does not engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning consumers. To opt out or inquire about this practice, email weldonlidineller@gmail.com.

Rights for EEA, UK, and Swiss Users

Where the GDPR or equivalent UK/Swiss rules apply, you benefit from the rights listed above, including rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability. You may also withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent. Our legal basis for each major processing purpose appears in the Legal Basis section. Contact weldonlidineller@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

Transfers

EmberHub is operated from China, and our service providers may process data in China and other countries where they maintain facilities. When personal data moves across borders, we implement safeguards appropriate to the transfer, which may include contractual clauses, technical measures, and access controls designed to maintain a level of protection consistent with applicable law.

If you access EmberHub from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or other regions with transfer restrictions, your information may be transferred to jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Where required, we rely on approved transfer mechanisms and limit access to personnel and subprocessors with a legitimate need.

By using EmberHub, you understand that cross-border processing may be necessary to deliver account services, host user-generated content, perform analytics, and maintain security. You may contact us for additional information about transfer safeguards relevant to your jurisdiction.

Data Inventory

We collect information from several sources: data you provide, data generated through your use of EmberHub, data from your device, and data received from Google Play in connection with subscriptions.

Information You Provide

When you register, you may supply an email address, display name, profile attributes, avatar selections, and authentication credentials. When you use chat, matching, or feed features, you create user-generated content, including text messages, voice recordings, images, and video streams you choose to send or broadcast. You may also contact support and provide correspondence.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use EmberHub, we and our service providers may collect device information (such as device model, operating system version, language settings, and app version), usage events (such as feature interactions and session timestamps), diagnostics, and crash logs. Network and security logs may record IP addresses and request metadata to protect the service and troubleshoot failures.

Media You Select or Capture

If you choose to update your avatar, send an image in chat, or participate in video chat, EmberHub processes photos and videos or audio you actively capture or select. We do not scan your full media library; only items you explicitly choose or capture through an in-app action are accessed.

Subscription and Billing Metadata

Google Play Billing processes subscription payments. We may receive subscription status, product identifiers, and transaction tokens from Google to verify entitlements. We do not receive full payment card numbers from Google.

Data Safety Summary Mapping

For transparency aligned with Google Play Data safety disclosures:

We do not collect precise location, contacts, or calendar data through the permissions declared for EmberHub.

Children

EmberHub is designed for adults 18 and older only. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we will take steps to disable the account and delete associated personal data where feasible.

Parents or guardians who believe a minor has provided information to EmberHub should contact weldonlidineller@gmail.com with sufficient detail for us to investigate and remove the account. Because our age gate relies on user confirmation rather than documentary verification, we encourage guardians to supervise device use and report suspected underage accounts promptly.

Platform Scope

This Privacy Policy applies solely to EmberHub on Google Play for Android. It does not govern websites, services, or applications we do not operate, nor does it cover third-party content linked from user profiles or messages.

EmberHub uses Android system permissions and Google Play services consistent with an Android distribution. References to settings, storage scopes, and permission controls in this Policy assume the Android operating system on supported devices. This Policy does not describe Apple App Store, iOS, or IDFA-related practices because EmberHub, as described here, is an Android application.

Certain legal documents—including User Terms, Privacy Policy excerpts, and account deletion guidance—may be displayed inside the app through a WebView for convenience. Those pages are loaded to present compliance information only; the WebView is not used for advertising tracking or unrelated behavioral monitoring.

Changes and Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features, legal requirements, or operational practices. When we make material changes, we will provide notice within the app, through Google Play listing updates, or by other reasonable means. The "Effective date" at the top indicates when the current version took effect. Continued use after the effective date of a revised Policy constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

For privacy questions, rights requests, or complaints, contact:

Guangzhou Zhaiying Sui Trading Co., Ltd.

Room 401, No.24 Yongbian Street, Chebei Shuishang Xincun, Tianhe District, Guangzhou City

Email: weldonlidineller@gmail.com

We will respond to privacy-related requests within a reasonable period after verification.

Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Measures may include access controls, encryption in transit for network communications, segmented production environments, logging and monitoring, and staff training on confidentiality obligations.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. While we work to safeguard your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal data that requires notification under applicable law, we will notify affected users and regulators as required.

You can support security by using a strong password, keeping your device operating system updated, and revoking permissions you no longer wish to grant through Android settings.

Additional Operational Details

EmberHub is structured around four primary areas: a home feed for browsing content and user profiles; a matching area for discovering and connecting with other members; a chat area supporting text, images, voice messages, and video sessions; and a profile center for managing your avatar, settings, and legal notices.

Feed and profile browsing generally do not require camera, microphone, or media permissions. Matching operates on profile recommendations and user interactions without accessing sensitive device sensors until you initiate chat or media features. Messaging stores conversation history so you and your contacts can view prior messages; voice clips and images you send are processed to deliver them to recipients. Video chat uses live camera and microphone streams during active sessions only.

We may moderate content or suspend accounts that violate User Terms or pose safety risks. Moderation may involve reviewing reported user-generated content and associated metadata.

Because our SDK inventory was not separately enumerated at publication, EmberHub may integrate standard Android and Google Play components for billing, crash reporting, and infrastructure without changing the data categories described in this Policy. We do not permit third parties to use your personal data for their own independent marketing unrelated to providing contracted services.

Operational logs and diagnostics help us detect abuse, measure feature performance, and repair defects. Aggregated or de-identified statistics that cannot reasonably identify you may be used for product planning.

Permissions

EmberHub requests Android permissions only when a feature you actively use requires them. You may revoke permissions through Android system settings; revoking a permission may limit related functionality until you grant it again.

Camera

Uses: Capturing a new profile avatar when you choose "take photo," and transmitting video during an active video chat session you enter from a chat or profile screen.

Background use: The camera is not used in the background. EmberHub does not silently record video, capture images without your action, or access the camera outside avatar capture or live video chat.

Withdrawal: Deny or revoke the Camera permission in Android settings. Without it, you cannot take a new photo avatar or participate in video chat until permission is restored.

Microphone

Uses: Recording voice messages you initiate in chat and capturing audio during video chat.

Background use: The microphone is not used in the background. EmberHub does not ambiently record, listen continuously, or activate the microphone outside explicit voice-message recording or active video calls.

Withdrawal: Revoke Microphone permission in Android settings. Voice messages and video chat audio will be unavailable until permission is granted again.

Photos and Media

Uses: Reading images you manually select when changing your avatar or sending a picture in chat. Access is limited to items you pick through the system picker or scoped storage APIs; we do not enumerate your entire gallery.

Background use: Photos and media access is not used in the background. No automatic upload of unselected files occurs.

Withdrawal: Revoke Photos and media (or related media) permission in Android settings. You may still send text messages; image and certain avatar workflows may require re-authorization.

External Storage

Uses: Supporting scoped read/write access when Android requires storage permission or legacy storage paths for saving or retrieving user-selected media consistent with chat and avatar features on applicable Android versions.

Background use: External storage is not accessed in the background for unrelated file scanning.

Withdrawal: Revoke storage-related permissions in Android settings. Features relying on local media access may be limited accordingly.

Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

| Data category | Typical retention approach |

|---|---|

| Account and profile data | Retained while your account is active; deleted or anonymized after confirmed account deletion, subject to backup purge cycles |

| Messages and user-generated content | Retained to provide chat history and social features while your account exists; removed or anonymized following account deletion except where retention is legally required |

| Media uploads (avatars, chat images, voice clips) | Retained while associated with active conversations or profiles; deleted when content is removed or account is deleted |

| Device, usage, and crash data | Retained for a limited operational period for analytics and security, then aggregated or deleted |

| Subscription records | Retained as needed to verify entitlements, resolve billing disputes, and comply with tax or accounting rules |

| Legal holds and safety records | Retained longer when necessary for disputes, enforcement, or regulatory obligations |

Backup systems may retain residual copies for a short interval after deletion before automatic overwrite. De-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you may be kept indefinitely for statistical purposes.

Where GDPR or similar laws require a lawful basis (also called legal basis) for processing, we rely on the following grounds for primary activities:

| Processing purpose | Legal basis |

|---|---|

| Providing core social features, messaging, matching, and feed services under User Terms | Performance of a contract (or steps at your request before entering a contract) |

| Account registration, authentication, and account management | Performance of a contract; legal obligation where record-keeping is mandated |

| Hosting and delivering user-generated content | Performance of a contract |

| Optional avatar, image, voice, and video features | Consent when you initiate the feature; performance of a contract where necessary to deliver requested communication |

| Analytics, crash reporting, and service diagnostics | Legitimate interests in improving stability and user experience, balanced against your rights |

| Security monitoring, fraud prevention, and abuse response | Legitimate interests in protecting users and our systems; legal obligation where applicable |

| Subscription verification via Google Play | Performance of a contract |

| Compliance with lawful requests from authorities | Legal obligation |

| Engaging subprocessors for hosting and analytics | Legitimate interests and performance of a contract, subject to appropriate safeguards |

When we rely on legitimate interests, we evaluate whether our interests are overridden by your privacy rights and provide opt-out or objection rights where required. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
